Cute Little Journal

If you're looking for the perfect journal with precisely cut pages and smooth edges, this is definitely NOT the journal for you. This magazine is very irregular, with pages of different sizes, the pages are crooked and constantly torn. The sides are stitched around the edges to keep them from being forgotten, but there is plenty of wear and tear. I personally like the look - it's great for small junk magazines. This is the third piece I have completed and it was made on the birds/bees/butterflies theme. I cut the tie in half and glued the front and back and glued design paper on top. I recommend using a combination of really sticky double sided tape along with some sticky glue and some liquid glue around the edges. Some of them had to be clamped. I've attached photos so you can see the scuffs and also a few pages so you can see the wrong page sizes on the sides. Overall dimensions are approximately 4x6, although very few pages are actually 4 inches wide. Because there's no real *spine*, you can actually fill this little album completely and not worry about the spine breaking or tearing. If you're not looking for perfection, I highly recommend it. A fun little diary to work with!
