Review on 📻 COBRA ACXT545 Walkie Talkies: Rechargeable, Long Range 28-Mile Two Way Radio Set with VOX (2 Pack) - Enhanced Communication for Adventure by Todd Adams

My wife and I live off the grid on 65 acres of wooded land. When I'm working outside or she's walking around, we like to keep in touch. I used to buy a couple of Cobra CX335 walkie-talkies, but one of them broke after three years of heavy use. After looking at the amount of different models I decided to order these Cobra ACXT545 walkie talkies which claim to have a long range. After frequently changing the batteries in the old pair, I wanted the new walkie-talkies to be sitting in the charging dock and ready to go. at any time without changing the battery. So the ACXT545 radios met my needs. I tested my old CX335 radios and got about a mile out of them which was good enough for our property. Today I checked the range of our new ACXT545 radios and was pleased to find that I can communicate clearly with my wife from our main road post box (two miles away with lots of trees in between). These radios definitely have the best range. That, and they'll work with the remaining CX335 walkie-talkies that still work. Like our former walkie-talkies, they are used several times a day and can withstand shocks. I assume they will hold up well. If not, I will update my review.
