The brushes in this set are so large that the Roomba 880 will run for a short time (1-2 minutes?) and then stop and say "Open the Roomba brush cage and clean the brushes." I've tried to sand the brushes a bit, but that doesn't help unless I do it just enough. FYI, yes I tried cleaning the brushes. I even took out all the bot modules, screws and stuff to figure out what was wrong, but nothing happened except for the size of the brushes. The sensor was clogged with dirt so I cleaned it too. I even went as far as disassembling and cleaning the sensor assembly and inspecting the gear cages. I'm a certified electronics engineer, so I don't break things up or confuse them. The only thing that solves the problem is removing the new brushes and putting in the old, worn brushes. So yes I can confirm this is the size of the brushes although they appear to be the same size as the old ones. I researched the issue online and what seems to be happening is that when the onboard computer detects that the brushes are generating too much resistance, Roomba shuts down and gives a human readable description of the fault from the sensors. All. The rest of this package works fine.
