Cool but not opaque and lightweight

I'm pretty smart and use a lot of wallpaper and contact paper, but this roll was a problem. In the end I gave up and only painted what I wanted to hide. Also is it a bit transparent? So if you're looking for reliable coverage for something, this isn't ideal. Does it have some sort of fun "candy sheen" though? I'm sure it looks really cool and cool, if you can tame it? It just wasn't
