I don't hot style my hair every day, but I do it quite often and have used curling irons for years. I know how a curling iron should work. I can say that this curling iron did not heat up to full temperature, it keeps blinking. I need to lower the temperature to a lower value to reach a steady state. That makes me suspicious of the heating element in this curling iron. So this might be the flat iron I use to straighten the unruly hairs on my parting and around my hairline, but for the rest of my needs I stick to my long curlers.
