This is exactly what I needed to connect a 10mm fan bar to a ram swivel mount. The hole for the 10mm rod was ok. I had to use a screw to pull the two sides together so it would grab the bar so the bar wouldn't rotate, but that's because the two sides of the top of the mount are very strong and it takes some effort to get them to move to move . together. I could do this with my fingers with an allen wrench so it wasn't difficult. Pros: Solid construction. Smooth processing and beautiful finish. A lightweight. Compactness. Cons: Hole center to center spacing is 30mm and standard mounting hole patterns are 32mm. The holes on one side of all blocks were slightly closer to the edge than the other holes on each block, so the center-to-center hole pattern was slightly off-center from the top slip.
