Reduces the floor temperature in the cabin of class C motorhomes

Many class C motorhomes have problems with underfloor heating, especially on the passenger side. Most RV manufacturers don't think much about the cab; As a result, it sounds and feels like a moving truck. I needed to replace the carpet in the cab so I decided to do something about the road noise and heat. This product solves both problems. Installation was pretty easy. After removing the old carpet/carpet, it's a good idea to prepare the bare metal of the floor so that the adhesive will stick to that carpet. I also removed the engine cover (dog kennel) and seats for good coverage. It's expensive, so take the time to measure. I laid out the material without removing the glue and used a utility knife to trace the outline. If you put it under the seats, make sure you make a hole in the material where the studs are, which will make it a lot easier to put the seats back in later. The adhesive works very well, once applied it stays in place. After a few long RV trips I can tell you these things make a world of difference. It really lowered the floor temperature to a comfortable level and was quieter. I put a car carpet on top of the product which further deadened the sound. I recommend this product but it doesn't come in a roll. It's complex, which causes some wrinkles.
