Review on Monoprice Amber Series 6.5 Inch 3-Way Carbon 🔊 Fiber In-Wall Column Speaker with Ribbon Tweeter - White (115700) by Danielle Aycock

I installed 3 of these Monoprice Alpha built-in speakers as LCR speakers in my home cinema. The dimensions of the room and the position of the doors required installation in the wall. I mounted them on the wall behind an acoustically transparent projection screen. Given the cost of these speakers, I couldn't believe how good they sounded in my room. No, they don't surpass good floorstanders and the like or premium in-wall speakers offered elsewhere, but they surprise me with what they are. They sound great in my 10x18 theater and I don't feel like I'm really missing a ton. They have decent extension but I still cross them at 80-100Hz for my subwoofer. I am very happy with these speakers. They have been in my theater for 3 years.
