I've been using these bags for years, both for travel and everyday, and I hope they never stop making them. I hate carrying big heavy bags. This one is so nice and light, but it can be filled with more things if needed. There are two main internal compartments that can hold a notebook and a couple of modest sized books, which is perfect for me. Since I have kids mine will probably have some diapers, a hat etc. I can even squeeze into a blanket or leakproof mug if I don't zip it up. The smaller front exterior pocket is great for pens and pencils, while the larger one is ideal for things like index cards. The rear outer pocket is convenient for storing airline tickets. The straps and zippers hold their shape well. The printed fabric gets dirty over time, but is easy to clean. Belts are more difficult to clean and light-colored belts tend to get dirty faster than darker ones. The strap stretches for a comfortable crossbody, which I prefer.
