I am writing this late at night in my darkened office with an Edola USB portable ceiling fan running above my desk. The fan quietly blows a nice breeze—it's a hot night here—and the mid-level edola lamp illuminates my desk with soft light, just enough to see my keyboard and items on the table without illuminating the entire room . I set the timer to turn off after an hour, just enough time to finish my work before the fan and lights go out, either to remind me to go to bed or to save energy , when I had already done it and forgot to turn off the fan and lights. Controlled by either a single multi-function button on the fan or via a handy app, this fan/light provides hours of quiet, comfortable cooling on a single charge, or can be powered continuously from a 2 amp or larger phone charger (USB) with the included 9-foot -USB cable -A - USB-C. The fan offers four modes - low, medium, high and "Natural Wind" which constantly changes the fan speed for a natural breeze experience. The lamp also has low, medium and high modes, even the brightest of which has a comfortable and subdued level. The app provides instant access to each of these fan and light modes (the button selects them with a few short or long presses) and adds a timer that can be set in tenths of an hour up to 24 hours. Documentation states that the fan will run for five to 10 hours on a single charge; This seems accurate based on my own testing.
