I bought NOW brand castor oil and it was definitely fake or counterfeit. This brand, Eva Naturals Organic Castor Oil, is the real deal. The oil is thick and luxurious. I applied it to my eyebrows and eyelashes - and I saw a difference in my eyebrows. I don't think I use it regularly enough on my lashes to see a difference. So if you're looking for the real deal, get this brand of castor oil (and it comes with free brushes!).
