I bought these chair covers to keep my light cream velvet chairs clean. I have three children including a toddler who leave fingerprints all over the place and these will be kitchen chairs so they will be of great use. I needed something that was durable, easy to clean, water and stain resistant, and would protect the chair's legs from toy trucks and cars. They were perfect and I love that they are transparent so I can still admire the chairs. They are easy to put on and take off when I have company. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I wish they were a bit wider. They fit right where the armrests and seat meet and I'm afraid the tightness will rip them apart if someone sits all the way on them. Otherwise it's worth it.
