After reading the reviews of motorized juicers and how often their motors failed, I started looking at these heavy duty leveraged juicers. Some reviews claimed this juicer had to be held down or it would "dance" on the counter. I can tell you this is not true. It has a heavy cast iron stand and stays in place. Other benefits: 1) It squeezes all the juice out of fruit (at least the Bearss limes and lemons I've squeezed) and 2) It's very easy to peel. I've downed 22 cups of juice and yes my 76 year old arm is a bit tired but it has good leverage and is relatively easy to hit. It's something I won't be using that often, but when I need to, it's Cat's Meow.
