Review on Inflator Inflation Campbell Hausfeld MP600000AV by Robert Aliraqi

Not worth $11. Buy a better sensor

I thought I had reviewed this item before but can't find it. In any case, I was glad to get such a sensor. I used it relatively quickly after receiving it. As with most complaints, the tire's valve lock did not stay on, but only partially pressed against the valve stem, releasing air and reducing pressure. This only worked if you held down the plug on the valve. It worked when you did it. However, it accurately reads the tire pressure when inflating, or just checks the pressure. Fast forward to yesterday when I had to inflate a tire and after inflating to the recommended "34 psi" the tire didn't look right. Check the pressure again with that gauge and it was "straight" for 34psi. Then I got an "old fashioned" dipstick that read 15psi. I then checked with a digital pressure gauge which read 15.5psi. Upon closer inspection of the Campbell-Hausfeld meter (this product) I noticed that the meter dial read 20 and not zero where it should be. Nothing I did would reset the scale to zero. Checked again today and it still showed my tire at 36psi. However, it started at 20, so my tire was actually around 14 psi. Unfortunately, the 6-month Amazon guarantee has expired. Basically it's garbage. Don't worry about that. (Photo shows gauge stuck at 20psi)
