I've been using Neutrogena scrub for a while and decided to try this fake one. Most of the time, these generic branded items are very similar and are made by the same manufacturer. This one is clearly not. As others have noted, the smell is slightly different, which isn't a big deal. It smells more like plastic to me. I suspect this is because the scrub particles are larger and possibly real plastic. They almost feel like a little plastic bead rubbing against your face, which definitely isn't as good as the original at removing dead skin. That being said, it seems to work pretty much the same when paired with a facial cleanser/massager/whatever. that's a great value.
