I used this yarn to knit my daughter an Alaskan riding hat from Julie King's book on crochet hats that I bought from Joanne. The yarn was very comfortable to work with and there were no knots, neither in pink or grey, nor in black or cream, which I also used to make another black and gray yarn for her. However, if you decide to use pom poms on the ends of the earbud straps, you will need to use a stronger yarn to tie the pom poms.
