As a nurse, I know how these things work, how they’re supposed to react to drops and rises in an O2 saturation level. This one, at times, can be slow to react to drops in O2 sats. We’ve compared it to the "full on” Hospital model. It did "catch up” with the drop and subsequent rise of the "sat”, but shorter "dips” could POSSIBLY be missed due to the "hang-time” in reading. Meaning, if someone drops for 2minutes or Longer, this will catch it, but of that 2+min, it will catch about a minute. So if, someone drops for only a minute, there is a risk this unit might miss it entirely.I am hoping someone from the company can tell me if this is normal for their units, or is it just ours?It is very easy to use and very easy to read. So obviously, that part I REALLY like.
