I'm often in between a 34 and 36W, so I opted for a 36 to be safe. Right off the bat before washing, I could tell that was a bad idea. I would definitely advise going for a bit bigger than you normally would in case of any shrinkage. They are perfectly wearable, but if you're not a fan of looking like you're wearing skinny jeans you might be disappointed.
