Review on Kensington MicroSaver Retractable Laptop K64538US by Chadwick Webster

Purchased to use with my new MacBook Pro. Of all the Revain's laptop/cable lock options, I chose this one because it was retractable and therefore easier to lug around. The cord is thin enough not to stop the most determined thief, but I highly doubt anyone would pull out cord cutters or break the furniture my padlock is attached to while it's in the middle of a coffee shop or library. So strong enough for my needs. What is disappointing is the cord length and poor feed. In fact, you have to be closer than a meter to a table leg (or whatever you're attaching your laptop to) and it's almost impossible to fully retract the cable. I don't mean it won't fully retract after using it for a while, I mean it won't immediately out of the box. I wouldn't buy it again, but this thing still takes up less room in my bag than a regular, thicker lanyard, so I (a bit reluctantly) kept it.
