Review on Titan 16028 26 Piece Precision Driver by Brian Carrizales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Mini Titan! Suitable for hand tools

Update 06/11/21: After several uses over the years, my first impression has been confirmed. Nice and useful set. The original review follows. This is a first impression review (i.e. I have tested the product but not actually used it). My local hardware store is asking over $30 for this precision driver kit! When I found it at Revain, I became the victim of an impulse buy. The set is compact and has a good set of bits. The aluminum driver gives the impression of durability while the bits appear to be of normal quality. I like that the bits are color coded: blue, Philips; red, five-leaved; green, torx; orange, flat head; and Alan/Hex head have no color. The case has a rubberized finish for a secure grip and protection, and a release button that allows tools to be pulled out for access. Each tool/bit has a slot that holds it in place and the body stays attached while the tools are extracted to prevent misplacement. The screwdriver and extension ("bit holder") are a bit difficult to get out of the holders (I used one of the bits to free them). Using an extension is optional but offers the benefit of adjustable tool length and a magnetized bit for holding small screws. for the driver. Not sure what it's for - maybe a place to store tiny screws or extra bits? Overall, the first impression is excellent. I'll update this review if usage provides more insight.
