I bought this two years ago for my Toyota truck which is going into storage for the winter. It works fantastic and has never had any problems. Last summer there was a problem with my other car, the battery died and died. A few days of plugging it into the charger brought it back to life. I've also used it a few times on my Cub Cadet tractor lawn mower and it's revived it flawlessly every time. The indicators on it can be a bit confusing and I'll have to keep the manual to decipher what they're supposed to mean. does. If you connect it to a dead battery it will show that it is not charging, but after a day of connection it will start to show that it is charging. And in answer to a couple of questions I connected this to the batteries removed from the car and still connected in the car. I didn't have any problems with it anyway. My aforementioned Toyota truck is sitting in the garage with the battery still plugged in and connected to the charger with no problems (I leave the hood open so I'll remember it's plugged in!). This is a great product and I will definitely buy again if the need arises.
