I've owned several scales over the years, from spring scales like the Pelouze and other digital scales made of known and unknown parts, expensive and inexpensive, with questionable accuracy and even more questionable reliability. I use scales to measure bow pull and for various other purposes in hunting and fishing. They are occasionally dropped and tend to be abused along the way. This scale is significant in both size and structure. It's also perfect for my use, usually under 100#. Depending on the manufacturer, it weighs up to 600#.
