Review on ๐Ÿ’ป LG 24MP60G B: FreeSync, Virtually Borderless, Anti-Glare Screen, IPS, HD Monitor - 24MP60G-B. by Cross Leeper

I wouldn't buy anything else

Note that the LG 24MP60G-B has a non-standard power plug. Not only is it bulky, but the way the cable runs down the side (rather than out like a regular cable) limits its placement on the surge protector. Do you know who to contact for a replacement? The display panel is good enough for a 1080 display and is so bright by default that I had to turn it off. The settings on the device (all controlled via the 4-axis joystick/button on the bottom of the display) have all the modes LG needs for the pR0 6@m3R, but in practice they seemed pretty opaque, so I made my choice to fine-tune the parameters. instead through the NVIDIA Control Panel. I appreciate being able to draw a permanent crosshair on the screen, but I lose mysterious settings like "super resolution" or "black stabilizer". The "borderless" design is a bad joke, because the truth is that while the screen* is supposed to be nearly borderless on three sides, the display itself is functionally matte another 1/8 inch on each side (see photo), what is no less important. Not only does this make the actual viewing area smaller than a traditional 24-inch monitor, but it also makes determining the actual pixel-perfect border a matter of guesswork, which is a nightmare for tasks (e.g. the actual screen border on dark content. Not to mention that the matte finish around the display is far enough from the edge of the screen to cast a real shadow on the screen while LG chats about viewing angles. Meanwhile, what's that "hole" (pictured) in the top corner my display? The purchase price for me was $126.99 and I feel like I could do better or at least find a display that supports the normal connector design that we use.I've used all of them for 30 years. The desktop -Stand allows for tilt but not vertical adjustment, and the presence of screws for attaching the stand to the display reminds you Remember that this is an inexpensive device. If youโ€™re gaming on a 1080p display with a single monitor, you must be having a good time. But if you're trying to add this to a multi-monitor setup where it needs to be coordinated with other displays, save yourself the hassle and keep shopping.
