They like to be dry between uses
This is my second Konjac sponge and I love it. I bought the first one at Walmart but it was smaller. It has an s side that is rough to peel away from the skin. It won't tear your skin like a loofah. It's a lot softer. I have a wire shower stall that hangs over my shower head. I lean the sponge against the narrow end to dry. I don't lay it horizontally and keep it in the water. Nobody else uses my bath or my sponge. It looks the same as the first day, with no rot. Since I have allergies, I shower with a sponge in the morning and evening. I prefer the rough side of the sponge.
