I bought this swing about 3 months ago and hung it outside almost immediately. I hung it on our wooden swing. I had to remove the two straps that were next to each other so I could hang this on two hooks with one of the hooks in between. In fact, these swings are wider than regular swings, so they take up a seat and a half on the swing. The weather was still pretty cold when I hung it up, but my kids couldn't wait to use it! They love it! They are 7 and 10 years old and both have great fun on this swing. They are both petite for their age but easily fit on a swing together, sitting or lying side by side. The only downside is that it's difficult for them to swing on this swing, so I have to push them, or they have to take turns pushing each other. The swing seems pretty solid and relatively easy to assemble. Took me 15-20 minutes to assemble and hang it up.
