When you receive your bottle, IMMEDIATELY remove the cap and inspect the white rubber O-ring. Mine didn't fit in the track so I put it in there before washing and first use. I can imagine the nightmare of using this sealed bottle without the rubber seal. I use my bottle all day (will update after more use). For now it solves the problems I have with Radian and Classic bottles. Pros: 1. The textured grip allows me to hold the bottle securely and remove the cap with ease.2. The design of the drinking lid allows for easy opening and closing without the "I thought it was closed, but it's actually leaking" situation.3. What's amazing is the part of the lid that unfolds for portability like a carry handle, but gets out of the way. MINOR CONS: 1. Because the "neck" of the bottle (the area of the textured grip) is slightly narrower than the rest of the bottle, it is difficult to hand wash the inside of the bottle. My hands are small but I recommend using their brush (sold separately). I think the narrow neck is actually comfortable to hold and drink from, so I don't see it as a downside, just pointing that out.2. While other reviews have mentioned that the bottom of the bottle is too narrow and can tip over easily, I haven't experienced this. In fact, due to the width of the base, this bottle doesn't fully fit my car's cup holder while my stainless steel Radian bottle does. While I wish the bottom of the bottle was a few millimeters smaller, I can understand why the company didn't do it that way.*** I've only used this bottle for water so can't comment on the mixing/serving aspect of it protein drinks.
