Time to replace a similar strap I bought over 10 years ago from a local leather shop that has since gone out of business. My requirement was for a belt that was both stylish, well made and affordable, and this belt fits all three. My waist is 34 inches in most jeans and 36 inches in most dress pants. I usually buy a 38" bet and did the same with this one and it fit as expected. The width is perfect for jeans and a casual dress, but can be slightly wider for dressier looks. I received a black belt with a polished brass buckle and the buckle is very shiny and bright. After wearing it for a week I ordered another one in brown. I expect this belt to last for many years.
