This short needle is ideal for working sleeves, ankles, socks and hat crowns. If you have difficulty with DPN or want to knit faster, this needle is for you. The needles are made of smooth molded bamboo, the cables are flexible and the metal connectors do not stick to the yarn. However, the needles are necessarily very short; It takes some getting used to, but is useful for an avid knitter. During my first two projects, I developed cramps at the bases of both thumbs. I've learned to knit in a relaxed manner, keeping my arms very lazy, and now I have no more difficulties. I am not giving this product five stars because I would have preferred the metal cord option. Some threads don't slip on the plastic cable and the constant readjustment of the stitches on the cable is annoying.
