Nice product; I wish I had bought a cheaper option

We installed this in our Club Car Onwards so some of my comments may relate to this model.1. The colors look great. Would like a better way to control modes and colors; basically i think i would like to get the bluetooth variant because cycling, although there are so many options, is absolutely tedious as some make relatively no difference. 2. I also wish we'd bought a cheaper kit as we found the canopy and dash lights too distracting while driving, even when on full-time. Make the mistake of putting it in a different mode and you'll go blind. I removed those add-ons (I have a lot of internal dilemma considering how long it took to install the canopy lights).2. Assembly. We have a system with six 8 volt batteries. I ended up searching a long time to see if I could just hook this up to two batteries and see if the system could handle the extra 4 volts but I couldn't find anything. I didn't want to be a test subject because it's very expensive. I also knew that there was already a gearbox somewhere on my car because of the radio and lights, but then I didn't know if it had enough amplifiers. I've also given up searching and testing. I ended up buying a gearbox and just went with that option, although again it was more money. In addition to what's included in the kit, you'll likely need extra 16 gauge wire, wire shackles (the zip ties were fine, but in many places there wasn't anything to tie a zip tie to), and lots of patience. Installing headlights is difficult because there is very little space, especially on Onward, but I managed. I didn't use zip ties because the Onward has nowhere to tie the zipper. Lots of areas and nothing solid to hold on to. So I used screws and tape. I'm not sure I would trust either option alone; Now they feel safe, although time will tell. In general I am satisfied with the purchase, although I regret some of the choices made. It looks amazing and is bright enough (if you don't connect enough amps it might not be bright enough). If I had to do it again I would go with the cheaper unlit canopy system and go for the system with better controls and bluetooth.
