BEST Pet Carrier

I almost never leave reviews but I had to! I've been looking for the 'perfect' carrier for my cat for over a month. I wanted something well made, aesthetically pleasing, large but not TOO large, functional and inexpensive... basically impossible. My cat is 14lbs, large and very fluffy so the average cat carrier was undersized but with lots of pets. The 24-inch boxes seemed unnecessarily large for quick vet visits. Saw this on sale and it seemed too good to be true - everything I wanted and $20-$30 cheaper than similar ones? Well it's everything I was hoping for and more! Pros: - EXTREMELY well constructed with neat double stitching and appears to be a very durable material. The locking frame is amazingly strong in my opinion. The metal bars are thicker than the wheeled hanger I have and this hanger holds up to 45 pounds - frame locks in 4 places. As another reviewer mentioned, the way it folds up keeps it from falling on your pet in an accident. When it clicks into place, it's both noticeable and stable! - The shoulder strap is padded and the handles are covered with rubber - nice touches, but most importantly they are tear-resistant! - Inside very easy to clean (at least with water). .) it had no accidents with a cat, but I think it will be just as resistant to urination) - All 3 entrances (2 on the side, 1 on top) have both a screen and a blackout curtain. Velcro, clasp and loop allow you to roll up and out of the way both at the same time or just the curtain. The side pocket is spacious and functional, not just for presentation. Strap clips and 2 leash hooks inside are metal and heavy-duty - The side clips not only help secure the box in the car, but also keep it folded rather than fumbling with a storage bag - Additional rubber pads on the bottom prevent the box from sliding on non-carpeted floors - The entire metal frame can be easily removed for washing. Dual zips at each entrance and built in zip clips for all escapes! Cons - it would be nice if it had carry handles on the long sides! I was a little nervous about carrying the cat in with me and only the shoulder strap was attached at 2 points. So feels absolutely stable, once tried, but still. The handles at the end distribute the weight over 4 points, but then you have to use 2 hands. The addition of duffel-style handles would be nice, both for security and weight distribution. The ability to carry it with both the shoulder strap and duffel handles in the crook of your elbow will help those of us with fat cats too! - The product photo description says it cannot exceed 15 pounds, but the product description says it cannot exceed 25 pounds. As my cat is 14lbs I jumped at the chance and figured I'd just return it if I had any stability concerns (which I don't) but it would be nice if the manufacturers were clear about what the maximum weight is is. Another reviewer mentioned that the pillow is quite thin. It also doesn't completely cover the floor. I understand that as the box had to be folded with the pillow inside, but it would have been nice to have a slightly thicker/proportional size. I ended up putting one of the other kitten beds inside for ease of use. Overall I'm really impressed. Worth the money, with many small details (rubber handles, anti-slip pads, pocket, reinforced side panels, double zips, shoulder pads, etc.) that are actually functional and not just aesthetic. I'm willing to bet that the person or team that developed this definitely have their own pets. **Note on the only bad review this product has: obviously NO, this is not airline approved! Nowhere else in the product description is it stated... This crate is 13 inches tall with a metal frame and weighs 6 pounds!
