Overpriced, like all Miele parts, although the 220 stainless steel tube is a definite improvement over the poor construction of the original bronze tube 210 which had knob issues and had a tendency to fall apart and not twist to put back together. Our Callisto still works, the wand kept falling apart and the expansion button ended up not working AND the two pieces didn't fit together anymore. This 220 is more durable than the old 210 and has the push button design that should always go with these expensive vacuums.
