I like these belts as I already own several other brands from JASGOOD. But this gelante is only 1 1/4 inches wide, not 1 1/2. The width is 2 inches as described and the buckle is not that wide. JASGOOD brand belts are 1 1/2 wide as described and also much stronger and not as fragile. In this sense, the Gelante brand belt is still good for a lower price, but more suitable for everyday use in my opinion. The JASGOOD brand is stronger and more durable, but still suitable for everyday use when needed. Hope that helps.
