Review on 🐱 Hairball Care by Royal Canin: Optimal Solution for Managing Hairballs by Bradly Illu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A find for your Maine Coon!

I have wanted to write this review for a long time. It has been around five months since my cat was fed Royal Canin instead of her previous food. If your situation is similar to mine and you're tearing your hair out trying to figure out what to feed your cat and spitting up whatever it eats, you've come to the right place. Let me just say that before I was given this food my Maine Coon cat was vomiting all over and was so constipated that I had to take her to the vet who was kind enough to inform me that cats with this problem could have life threatening blockages in the gut Breasts develop intestinal tracts since undigested hair is unable to pass through their systems. Needless to say (and $500 later!), I was desperate. Someone told me that raw food is good for her stomach but my cat only eats kibble so I sat down to do a little internet research and found this food on Revain - a real find; I'm not exaggerating - PLUS food for Maine Coons (same brand). I mix them together. Well, the miracle didn't happen overnight, but it did happen. The vomiting started to subside. After a few weeks it was almost gone. For example, sometimes he vomits once a month instead of several times a day. He also began, as they say at home, to "go about his own business" on a regular basis, ie daily. He jumps every now and then but the vet told me 1-2 days is normal. Luckily he liked Royal Canin when I switched his food. I've heard they add it to their food little by little if they don't take it right away. The night we had to take him to the vet he was so unwell he was crying and hissing like a feral cat and his stomach was hard! It was heartbreaking! Well, since I've been feeding him Royal Canin he hasn't had any symptoms, hasn't been sick and hasn't had to go to the vet. He's the same: sweet and charming. As you also know, this is a wonderful breed if you have a Maine Coon. Very playful and affectionate, handsome and extremely intelligent - yes, beauty and intelligence. The hairball formula seems to do what it says on the tin - helping your cat digest large amounts of hair (and if you have a Maine Coon, you're aware of the large amounts). The vet actually told me that he was "too good" at grooming and therefore having trouble digesting food and that I should try to get him to lick less. (Can you believe it?) The Hairball Formula will take care of hairballs anyway, but it's also important to give your Maine Coon the Maine Coon Formula (I think 31). Because of the way their jaws and mouths are designed, they can put food in without chewing, and it will go down and wreak havoc on the digestive system. Now I give him a mix of two products and it covers all the issues. We really hear the delicious chewing sound when he eats, not just swallows! (Опять же, если у вас есть мейн-кун, вы поймете, о чем я говорю.) PS, я купил немного сырой еды через Интернет, которая должна была быть следующей лучшей вещью после Санта-Клауса, и мой мейн-кун отказался съесть That! So much for that! But now that we've found Royal Canin, we don't need it anymore.
