This heater works well. I was afraid of the "Orange Glow" but that's not a problem. It's compact, doesn't make noise, heats up quickly (like in 10 seconds). It seems well made and I'm glad I have the remote control version. There were no problems with the installation. I've looked at a lot of infrared heaters and this one is less expensive, uses a standard plug (not wired) and looks better. Remember that unless you are in the direct path of the light, you will not feel the heat. Mounted at a height of 7 feet, it puts out about 7 feet, but you will NOT feel HEAT for the first 2 feet directly under the unit. If I had a different circuit I would put two heaters in for better coverage.
