So I love this product. This is a significant upgrade to the blender I am replacing. It mixes much better, faster and comes with additional accessories in the form of two cups. It's easy to use as long as you read the instructions and precautions. I personally recommend adding plenty of cold liquid to the mixture and mixing in short bursts. I noticed that after about 30 seconds of continuous mixing (on an admittedly thin mixture) a small amount of smoke came out of the base. So I waited a bit, added more liquid and mixed in short bursts, and the result is a smoother mix than I've been able to do in the past. However, I am concerned about the smoke I saw. I hope this was just a small user error that I can avoid in the future. This is only my first day with the product so I have high hopes for the longevity of this product.
