UPDATE 4/17/21 I started using two of these, left one as a backup and I'm really glad I did. I'm never impressed when something that should work better than the original just doesn't work. Out of the three, only one will charge my iPhones now. I don't think this is the end of USB, but I know for sure by connecting both iPhones to these cables (or connecting cables to them). Nothing has happened. From time to time they start charging but stop for no earthly reason when the phones are only 10-20% charged. In my world, that's not acceptable. I know they weren't expensive, but they had relatively good reviews. I'm here to tell you if I didn't get a box of lemons, they don't deserve the five star ratings they did. And of course the return period expires approx. 3 days before the failure. Counting. I didn't order a 5 pack and I didn't receive it either. I ordered three packs and received the correct item. They are much stronger than the cables that come with the iPhone. I have two iPhones that I use in my office and have used more charging cables than I care to admit. Not only are they of much better quality, but they are also longer than a standard charging cable, which significantly reduces wear and tear. I love them and highly recommend them!
