Review on Halter Tassel Swimsuit: Bdcoco Women'S High-Waist 2-Piece Bikini Set by Brenda Perry

Not for "pear shapes "

Ordered a Medium. I have a narrow chest (34 B) so the top is doable, cute even. But the bottom "medium" is meant for somebody with no hips. For reference I'm currently about a size 4- 6, and carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs. My waist is small compared to my hips. The bottoms fit but looked horrendous. The sheer horizontal lines on the bottoms are made out of sheer white mesh, so if you're not completely sculpted, the bathing suit bottom will gather/compress any and all fat in that area, and give you an unflattering over inflated tire around your hips, which is only accentuated by the HORIZONTAL SEE-THROUGH MESH lines. (I bought this hoping the white verticle lines would end up having a slimming effect, but the horizontal mesh lines cancel out any perceived benefit of the horizontal lines. Also contributing to the fat gathering issue, is that the waist band is only about an inch of elastic, so the fat below the waist band gets pushed down, and the bottom part of the suit pushes lower belly fat up, hence the tire. And the mesh just puts on display the already horrific situation.I really loved the look of the suit (on the sculpted model), but I wish I had the option to size the top and bottom individually. In the meantime, I'm still getting back to beach body season, so hopefully the look of it will improve, but for now, i'm sad and feel fat!
