I love woody scents but this one doesn't smell like it. It smells like chemical musky and is very strong even on the lowest settings. I usually use wax heaters and they smell much more natural and cause less headaches. I put it in the basement to get rid of the cat box smell wafting through our home's air ducts and an air freshener on the lowest setting made the whole house smell. Concerned about the toxic chemicals, I researched the ingredients - you can find them on the botanica website. They cover up some of the significant VOCs as "fragrance ingredients" with little information, but overall a huge improvement on the amount of toxic chemicals found in other Air-Wick fragrances.
