I think many people who want to buy this SD CF card reader face the same problems as me. Too many photos on my iPhone and/or iPad and I have to buy additional iCloud storage every month to take them all. This card reader turned out to be the perfect solution to this problem. I simply insert one of several memory cards of different sizes (CF, SD or TF), open the PHOTO application and then copy the selected images onto the card. I'll cover the process in more detail in a minute. One thing you need to understand is that iOS 13 seems to have some options locked. First, as stated in the product description, the PHOTO application does not open automatically when a card reader is connected. This process stopped after iOS 12. Bi-directional transmission is supported on iOS 13. I've added a photo to show you how it's done: tap Files, search for On my iPhone, tap and hold a file, select Move and find the location of the SD/TF/CF card and then transfer the file from iPhone to SD/TF/CF card (most file formats are supported). This is a truly compact reader with exceptional build quality. I even took a close look at the Lightning cable connector to make sure it would stand up to the rigorous task of plugging and unplugging, and found the connector to be solid. Transferring data from phone to memory card was pretty fast. I only had one SD card handy, but after selecting about two dozen photos from my iPhone library, I just click the Share button -> Save to Files -> Memory Card Name. Because I selected a large number of high-resolution photos, the transfer was not instantaneous, but they were successfully transferred in about 20 seconds. I can then take out the card and view the photos on another device or even use it as storage for more photos. Photos I want to protect. Best of all, you don't need any additional software. This is a simple plug and play device that works exceptionally well. Highly recommended!
