I've never had a rangefinder so I can't rely on it. There are three modes, but I mainly use mode 2, which is basically aim, shift, range. It took him some time to realize when he wasn't measuring his intended target. I recommend having a link the first time you use it, e.g. B. a phone app or a GPS device. For example, if the top of the flag is visible and the rest is behind an obstacle such as a hill, the reticle should hover directly over the flag, otherwise the distance to the obstacle will likely be measured. This can be common to all rage seekers just because of the way they work. It would be nice if there was room in the case for a second battery, just in case. In general very satisfied with the product.
