LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these carpets! I have 3 of these mats because I play mahjong at my house weekly. I first bought 1 mat to try and players liked it so much they started a collection to buy mats for other tables. Some of my players have asked me where I bought mats so they can buy them too. The carpets sit firmly on the tables (thanks to the rubber backing) and the tiles slide over them well. They have a slight odor when they arrive (probably a rubber backing) but be patient it will go away after a few weeks on the table. If you are storing the mat in the fabric tube it was installed in, roll it up "rubber backed" inward so the curl is easy to unroll as you unroll it for play. If you roll it the other way, it will curl up a bit at the ends. I had a problem with flowers. Green is good, "tan" (that's what it was called when I ordered it) is more like harvest gold. I ordered one and sold it to a friend because I hate collecting gold. I then ordered more in green.
