I used to use a clear plastic bag to organize my hats. I'm not sure if this product is a significant improvement over what I've used before. The only reason I bought it was because I ran out of space in my previous organizer and decided to give it a try. It's easy to put together once you get the hang of it, and easy to take apart too. I'm not the biggest fan but it works (can't really complain). The video helped a lot more with the build just to see everything "snap into place". It wasn't intuitive from the start. The product itself folds, but does not fold tightly. This is complicated by the fact that these things literally carry no weight. What I mean is that when I go and open the container everything moves as it takes some effort to open each bag. When this happens, the upper/lower containers will also be shuffled and moved, and sometimes they would fall down. Bottom line, it's affordable and looks good, but using it doesn't leave me with the best feeling of solidity. I was hoping to get out of here.
