My cat tolerates this product well. I love it. She doesn't like closed ears (she's visually impaired so none of us want to disturb her hearing) Seems normal for her to hang loosely around her neck.She can take it off easily and usually does so within a minute or so of wearing it.It's velcro so it's easy to remove.If your cat is having trouble with the Has motor skills - don't get them, but I doubt you would.
