The booklet is very small. So if you need reading glasses or your eyesight is failing, forget it. You don't need a booklet, but if you're not sure which side is the front and which is the back... the side without the brass colored half ring is the front and the side you rest your phone on. My new iPhone 12 Pro glued to it seemed to know where to go. At first I couldn't charge it. The brochure didn't help. Here's what I found, if it doesn't work, check that the USB cable is firmly and securely connected to the base. If everything is ok, make sure the USB connector is firmly connected, check both and finally make sure the power plug (not included) is fully inserted into the socket. After that everything worked like a dream, my phone was protected and charged perfectly
