Review on Explore The Great Outdoors With Mishansha Water Resistant Hiking Boots For Boys And Girls - Non-Slip, Anti-Collision Athletic Ankle Walking Shoes by Kari Barley

Cute design, but that's about it.

I bought these for my 7 year old son when the snow in our area started to melt so he didn't need to wear his big, heavy snow boots anymore, but it was still chilly out & melting ice/snow so I wanted him to have a more comfortable option. He only wore them 3 times, but this last time he actually stepped in some snow. I didn't worry because they claimed to be water resistant & it wasn't too much snow, figured his feet would be ok. Yes, I know the difference between water RESISTANT & water PROOF, so when he said his socks felt wet, it wasn't a surprise. When we got home, I asked him to take the boots off so I could change his wet socks. that's when I saw the boots literally had DYED his socks! Like, WHAT IN THE WORLD?! I've NEVER seen any shoe do this EVER. I'm also pretty upset that the first time he actually stepped in something wet & the shoes didn't even remotely kept his feet dry. He wasn't rolling around or jumping in heaps of snow, he really just walked through it & everything got inside. I love the look of these boots, but I deff would not recommend for any wet and cold outdoor activity.
