We bought our iPod with the expectation that our young children would use it for audiobooks and games while traveling. As kids they drop things so I needed a strong case that would protect the screen and act as a shock absorber if dropped. The case looks solid and protects the screen. HOWEVER, when the iPod was first dropped, something inside the screen was jarred, causing black and white streaks to appear on the screen. Once the battery dies and the iPod restarts, the screen will return to normal. He will do this every time, no matter what surface he falls on. With that, we're done with the case. It would be a waste of money if it didn't result in full iPod protection. Another problem with the case is that some of my kids headphones don't fit in the headphone jack on the iPod case.
