I integrated them with my real cameras to avoid being confused. After reading and talking to the security installers and looking at my 3 real cams I learned a few things that the thieves already figured out with this but you can fix it. First, real cameras don't have a flashing red light on the front. For thieves, this is a dead sale. Leave the battery. A real camera has a green light on the back, it doesn't blink and is only there to indicate that the camera is activated. But once a knowledgeable thief sees a flashing red light on a security camera, it tells them it's fake. And notice I am not revealing anything here, this information is available on many security sites. Second, a real camera. s can be wireless, but when they are, they don't necessarily have visible antennas. None of mine do. But they all have some kind of power source, not batteries. They won't have the one thick wire you see on them (at least the camera I have). They have two thin wires that go into the hole behind the camera. A flashing red light and thick wire are a clear sign of thieves. Drop the battery and drill two tiny holes in the back of the camera. Get a red and black thin wire and attach it to the back of the camera (I used a small piece of electrical tape) and insert the other ends of the wires into the holes. Thieves won't tell the difference between real and fake. They look absolutely real and are quite solidly built, even compared to my real cameras.
