Review on πŸ”§ Adaptable Replacement Sharpening Grinders Sanders by Jeff Westra

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Absolute junk at Power & Hand Tools

The handpiece looks nice and is made from good bits of aluminum but the part that holds the blade of the chisel is actually pieces of metal bolted together at the top and bottom that can't do a chisel hold that I can reliably find. He can hold the plane iron better. It also won't work properly unless you're using a tool about 4 inches longer than the tool rest, since the hinge under the tool rest will hit the grinding wheel for any 3 or 4 inch long tool you want to grind on. 25Β° bevel. The worst problem is that the carriage, which moves your tool left and right for grinding, sits loose in the guide and wobbles up and down a good half inch without holding it in place. Absolute rubbish
