I ordered this to make an automatic bullet calibrator for powder coated bullet size. The price was great and it serves its purpose. It seems like the movement could have been smoother and it could have been built a bit cheaply, but for the price I'm thrilled. It is not used often as it is for hobby purposes only. The support rods have fully threaded nuts so you can thread 8x1.5 bolts into the half of the nut not caught by the support rod to mount the cylinder. The pads allow a very controlled movement of the rod even with high pressure. When loaded, the pad seems to become ineffective towards the end of the shot as you can hear the strong impact of the bar as the ball passes through the matrix. I suspect this isn't the pillow's fault, just a flaw in the way I use it. I'm new to using airbags so I've only played with a few but so far this is exactly what I needed and bulk mailing was a very quick way to get it. One of my regular retailers charges $180 for the same product features, even though they always have high-quality brands. Since it was a hobby, it was worth trying the cheaper option.
