My cable arrived in a bag that said 'For Microphone Windshield' which caused some confusion but as you can see from the picture it actually contained the product I ordered. The cable itself seems to be of sufficient quality. It's a bit of a concern that the Wii U gamepad expects an input voltage of 4.75V while USB expects 5V, which is 5.3% over spec; However, most devices are designed for a deviation of 5%, so in practice this is unlikely to be a problem. It is also very unlikely that the device is actually using 4.75V internally as this is well above the standard 3.7-4.2V range for Li-Ion batteries so it is in all likelihood already stepping down internally .
